School Holiday - Learn to Sew
Five x two & a half hour sessions
$180, including all materials*
Pre-requisite: The classes are recommended for ages 8 years and over
Over 5 daily sessions in the studio, you will make simple sewing projects to learn:
- how to use and care for a sewing machine & other special equipment
- about fabrics and other materials
- to read and use sewing patterns
- basic sewing techniques
You can bring your own sewing machine if you prefer, or learn on one of our lovely computerised machines.
The classes are recommended for ages 8 years and over.
*All materials are included in the class cost, however you are welcome to bring along your own fabric of choice if you prefer.

Five x two & a half hour sessions
$180, students provide their own sewing pattern and fabric
Pre-requisite: The classes are recommended for ages 8 years and over. Students should be confident with simple sewing and using a sewing machine.
Over 5 sessions in the studio, you will use the sewing pattern and fabric of your choice to extend your sewing knowledge and learn more complex techniques.
Recommended for students with an interest in creating their own clothes.
You will learn:
- sewing machine functions & other special equipment
- about fabrics and other materials
- reading and using more complex sewing patterns
- different sewing techniques
You can bring your own sewing machine if you prefer, or learn on one of our lovely computerised machines.
The classes are recommended for ages 8 years and over.
After School Sewing Club
Next Classes Begin:
Every Wednesday during term time, 4.00 - 6.00pm
Thursday afternoon sewing club will also be available in 2025

Weekly 2.5 hour guided sewing sessions
$25.00 per week
Pre-requisite: The classes are recommended for ages 8 years and over.
Develop your child's creativity and stitching skills with this weekly stitching club.

They can bring along their current project for guidance, or work on creating something from our Fabric Share Tub (always fun, and a great way to learn!). This session doesn't include formal lessons, it is child led, so we will concentrate on following their interests to develop their skill set - whether it be sewing, knitting, crochet, needlework etc.

All our usual studio equipment will be available for use, as well as the Kurui Cottage pattern collection (perfect inspiration for gifts and helpful for learning and practicing new skills)'
​
I'll be on hand to offer support & direction when needed . You are welcome to bring your own machine to use , or use ours if preferred.
